Since 1960, Hôtel Au Soleil has been a family story rooted in the heart of the Alsatian vineyards for three generations. Located in Wettolsheim, five minutes from Colmar, our hotel offers 32 fully equipped rooms — including 11 new ones opened in 2026 —, a new restaurant with a menu by Chef Guillaume Schilling and his team, and a wellness area with a heated pool, jacuzzi and sauna.
For more than sixty years, three generations of the same family have kept alive the art of Alsatian hospitality. The warm welcome, the generous table, the care given to each room — it is a way of being. In 2026, the house enters a new era with the opening of its new restaurant and 11 additional rooms.
Chef Guillaume Schilling embodies the spirit of the house: a cuisine that blends inspiration and Alsatian tradition, rooted in the territory and driven by respect for raw produce. Each dish is built around carefully selected local products from nearby producers through short supply chains. The Chef works notably with game meats — venison, wild boar, pheasant depending on the season —, noble products that embody the deep flavours of Alsatian cuisine.
Because a wonderful stay is also a restful stay, Hôtel Au Soleil offers you a wellness area designed for relaxation. After a day exploring the streets of Colmar, driving the Wine Route or during your business trip, dive into our heated pool, let the jacuzzi jets ease your muscles or unwind in the sauna.
A room with natural daylight and access to an interior courtyard, air-conditioned, with a capacity of approximately 20–25 people. The room has modern equipment: WiFi, paperboard, screen and video projector, and can be blacked out for projection.
